the base to this tree is no longer in production so we are using the base that goes to our Santa Tree. the limbs of the tree will rest on the base.

    The tree itself is very pretty. However, the hole in the top of the tree is too short so the small star that was included does not go down into the actual tree. It fit in his picture. Also, the base has a lip which appears that it should fit into the opening of the bottom of the tree but it doesn’t leaving it to slip and slide around on the base. No one dare touch it for fear it will fall of the base. I contacted the seller who had informed me that the base it needed was no longer made. It would have been nice to include this in his description. I asked why he had not informed me of this during our conversations when purchasing. He said that he does not tell people what to buy. I felt there was a little bit of hiding in the ad .
